We have noted that the questions we ask of our Confirmands are really about 3 relationships:

Our relationship with Jesus.
Our relationship with God's word.
Our relationship to His Church.

The first and most important of these relationships is our relationship to Jesus. And we characterize the relationship we are meant to have with Him in two words: Lord and Savior.
